Infrared distance measuring sensor. Digital output, reads high when an object is closer than 40cm.

The GP2Y0D340K is Sharp's smallest distance measuring sensor - less than half the size of the GP2D12/D15. This sensor is extremely useful as a proximity sensor for small robots.

Unlike the other Sharp sensors we sell, this one has 0.1" spaced leads for mounting on a circuit board, eliminating the need for special connectors.
