Open Face Smart Sensor (Corrosion Resistant Coating)

This Smart Sensor combines an ultra-sensitive electrostatic transducer and SMT electronics in a conveniently sized package.

The advantages of using electrostatic technology are an ultra sensitive, responsive transducer with low ring characteristics. This desirable trait is well suited for detecting soft objects and ranging to targets at both near and far distances.

The Open Face construction minimises the potential of dust and powdered material collecting on the front face of the transducer.

The added protection of the Parylene conformal coating makes this transducer splash resistant and able to operate more efficiently in harsh chemical environments containing organic and inorganic solvents.
